Discuss PocketC for CE (including Desktop Edition)

Postby Team3Soft on Thu Apr 12, 2007 5:56 pm

Hello, users, and more importantly, Orbworks.

First, I'll start by saying that I have tried to contact the developers of PocketC, but to no avail. So I decided to write out loud to get their attention, here on these support forums.

Team 3 Software and Design is a small commercial company developing a small commercial game for PC. Being the founder, I've decided to try and take on a little challenge. I have noticed that you are not developing PocketC on the Windows CE platform anymore, so I have decided to ask if you would allow my team to start development again, under a third-party name.

Now, I'd be willing to do whatever I need to to land a deal, so if you want something, don't be afraid to ask. I've been using PocketC for Pocket PCs since about four years ago, and I find it an easy language to use for simple games or large applications, it holds together well.

And, now, I wish to develop it second-hand, and breath a new life into it. So what do you say, Orbworks? I believe this will be a great thing for all Pocket PC/Windows CE users. But, it is up to you. Let me know what you think.

It sounds like you were probably emailing Kevin, who is no longer involved (and doesn't check his email).

Email me at dewey@orbworks and we can discuss.
